Mrs. Suman Upadhyay w/o Mr.Brijesh Upadhyay is a wise lady from Uttar Pardesh.She is 27 year old & lives in Naharpur along with her husband & two children. Her husband works at one of the factories in Manesar. His salary is not enough to meet the family needs. She already had the skill cutting & tailoring, was earning thru this ,but it was not much. She wanted to increase the earnings. She came to know about the Samarth-Jyoti, a vocational training Centre of UnoMinda. She visited the Centre & met the coordinator, who guided her to learn the new skill of “Beauty Culture” earn more & have a better life.

She enrolled herself with Samarth-Jyoti for Beauty Culture course in ‘Oct13~Mar14’ session. After completion of the course she increased her business by adding facilities for Beauty parlour in her existing business. Now she is running a shop named “Suman Beauty Parlour & earning around Rs 15000/pm .This has given the family a great moral boast & has improved the quality of life.

Mrs Beenam w/o ShMr.Mukesh Kumar has changed her life after getting training of beauty culture from Samarth-Jyoti . She is 32 years & belongs to Uttar Pardesh. She has 3 children.His husband runs a small dhaba & with a single source of income,it was becoming more & more difficult to survive.Beenam was looking for opportunity to increase her family income,when she heard of Samarth-Jyoti.

She contacted the project coordinator of Samarth-jyoti who assured her of big returns if she learned the Beauty culture skill & practiced the learnings. The life was changed for Beenam after September 2013,when she had learned the skill & opened her own shop naming “Teena Beauty Parlour”in village Naharpur Kasan,Manesar Gurgaon.From that day there is no looking back. Presently she is supporting her family with a net profit of min Rs 8000/pm & is known for her quality work.

Mrs Geeta Devi ,age 24 years w/o Mr.Umakant Pande is calm & hardworking lady from Bihar. Her husband works as a driver in one of the companies. His single salary is not enough to feed the family of 5 persons (parents + 3 children).Geeta wanted to support her family but did not know what to do . She met our team & decided to join Samarth-Jyoti for ‘Cutting & Tailoring’ & ‘Beauty Culture’ training programmes. She passed the theory & the practical examination for both the courses by Sep2014. As guided ,she procured equipments & material required for running a shop & started her activities of stitching cloths & beauty parlour under the name of “Priya Silai Centre & Beauty Parlour” . She happily narrates that because of Samarth-Jyoti, she is able to change her life. She is earning approx. Rs 8000~ 10000pm & living a happy life.

In addition to above special successes where the beneficiaries have setup their own businesses, there are persons who have used their skill to make their way to export garment factories.
