I have always believed that "service to the needy is service to humanity". India is categorised as possessing the maximum number of youth in the world today. India is also an emerging economy. I feel time has come that we either utilise this opportunity or let it flitter away. On the other side, India is beset with a large population that is deprived of quality education, particularly elementary, and employable skills that can be absorbed in a growing economy.
An urge to share what Time has bestowed upon me along with the understanding of the present day reality of our country, I decided to take the plunge in the social sector and to participate in a more active manner through the efforts and activities of Samarth-Jyoti. I have been involved in the various social, welfare and humanitarian works of the UNO Minda group for more than two decades but still felt the need to exert focus on quality education and skill enhancement programmes for the youth that could help in their empowerment, well being and nation building.
In a modest way, we have already opened vocational centres in Haryana, Uttrakhand and Maharashtra to fulfil our aims and objectives. I wish to congratulate all our team members and beneficiaries for active participation in achieving this feat in a short span of time.
Thanking you.
